Met) | NTUA is the oldest and most prestigious educational institution of Greece in the field of technology, and has contributed unceasingly to the country’s scientific, technical and economic development since its foundation in 1836. One of the most active NTUA’s Labs on research and development is the Laboratory of Metallurgy(3rd position among NTUA labs). According to the European Research Ranking, 8% of the total research funds of NTUA comes from Laboratory of Metallurgy. The last decade the team has an active involvement also on research activities related to smart grids, smart metering, data harvesting and analysis of energy flow through hybrid energy systems.
